Where Do I Begin
Of course it has to be from the beginning… the point is it is difficult to remember where, how, when did the whole thing begin. OK let me start by declaring I AM AN ENTREPRENEUR. Statistics state that only 1 out of every 10 startups succeed and only 1 out of every 100 splendidly succeed. In spite of this fact I declare, boldly, I AM AN ENTREPRENEUR (and of course I aspire be 1 of the 100).
An entrepreneur is born after developing a vision for the future. It all begins with an idea, the idea gets groomed, developed, thought of, re-analyzed to give a stature of a vision. Of course ones own ideas fascinate each individual, I only know the idea is good, (how good time & response will tell) again there may be other people and companies with better and more ideas, more resources, more imagination, more of this and better in that, still I wish to put down my idea to refine it, develop it, argue on it, etc. Only then the vision can becomes a dream and the dream comes true.
- How does one go about buying a software – l Ok forget it, I have repeated this many times.
- When it comes to implementation most of them conclude it’s the IT peoples job. (this problem is analyzed and debated – again in relation to the mighty ones. But this exists even in small vertical softwares) Technology is not understood by the user and IT people are too busy to explain technology.
There is a big gap between
- It is a real good scene to see our nationalized banks, government offices etc., getting COMPUTERIZED. One morning I walk into my bank (after a long long time), ohh the bank is computerized …… a dos based program running….. and people running…..a big crowd… the entire bank has come to a standstill. I got to understand the situation. When you switch on the system the Banking program normally comes up today the systems have gone to the dos prompt…panicky calls to vendor…explaining situation over phone (screen is blank……. Ya we can see a ‘c’….(my offer to help, to talk to the vendor was denied ) … his solution was to enter into the directory and type a exe file name…. know what though IT was dumped into them there is a big knowledge gap.
I dream, in fact always always dreamt, to create CHANGE.
